Bryce Cunningham
Director of Tennis


A native of Australia, Director of Tennis, Bryce Cunningham brings stellar international experience as a player, coach, and in tennis management to the Club at La Costa.

USPTA P1 certified, Bryce was named 2013 USPTA Pro of the Year for north west Florida where he was the Director of Tennis at the Cliff Drysdale Tennis-managed Bluewater Bay Tennis Center in Niceville, FL. Under Cunningham's leadership, the facility was been voted "Best Tennis Center" in NW Florida by Emerald Coast Magazine. Passionate about growing the game of tennis amongst NW youth, Bryce spearheaded a local movement to grow the game via his afterschool programs, seasonal tennis camps and weekly junior round robins. Together with other local coaches, Bryce also organized NW Florida's first local tournament training series for juniors, held over select weekends.

Bryce's love for tennis started early in his youth. As a junior, he trained at both the Chris Evert and Bollettieri Academies, and went on to play internationally on the ITF circuit. Following his days as a tour player, Bryce went on to earn his USPTA certification as well as certification as a personal trainer. While still in Australia, he served as Head Tennis Professional at Tiebreak Tennis Academy, directing the adult and junior programs as well as the summer camps.

In 2008, Bryce joined the team at Cliff Drysdale Tennis, and quickly moved up the ranks to Program Director and Camp Director at the award-winning tennis center at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami before taking over the Bluewater Bay Tennis Center as Director.

Cammy MacGregor
Tennis Professional

Cammy MacGregor has been a certified USPTA instructor for the last 15 years and played on the WTA Tour for nine years.  Cammy competed in all of the Grand Slams, highlighted by reaching the 4th round in singles at the 1989 Australian Open.  She currently serves on the USPTA Board and was named USPTA female player of the year in 1998, 2000 and 2009.

Sean Stewart
Tennis Professional

Sean has been with La Costa since May 2006. He has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association since 1984 and has a Pro-1 rating. Sean was born into a tennis family with his father, Charles Stewart being a tennis instructor and playing in Wimbledon, the Italian Open and played for the U.S.C Men’s Tennis Team.

As a junior, Sean held high rankings in under age divisions in the USTA. Sean attended UC Berkeley and was a member of one of the nation’s top-ranked collegiate men’s tennis teams. In the summer of 1985, Sean played a Nike Grand prix circuit in Western Canada where he finished as one of the top doubles players. After graduating Sean became a teaching pro at the world renowned Wailea tennis Club in Maui.

Sean has a passion for tennis and enjoys teaching, whether it is fundamentals, tactics or strategy you want to work on, Sean is knowledgeable in all facets of the game.

Brian Blumenfield

Brain originally from New Jersey, has been teaching at La Costa Resort and Spa since 2005. During his high school career, Brian was a 3 year varsity player making the all conference team 3 times and all state in singles and doubles.

Brian attended the University of Rhode Island and played two years of division 1 tennis singles and doubles - making all rookie his freshman year. He transferred schools and graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a degree in sports management.

He works with adults and children and is available for lessons and clinics.


Alejandro Andino

Tennis Pro

Alejandro Andino is a former player of the Men's Tennis Team at Barry University, MI and University of South Carolina-Aiken. Alejandro became a NCAA Div II National Champion in 2013 playing for Barry University, and he also reached #731 in the ATP doubles tour. Alejandro is originally from Madrid, Spain, and has more than four years of experience in teaching tennis of all levels and ages. He also worked three years as a professional hitting partner in the Madrid Open Masters 1000 where he got to play with players like Rafael Nadal, Richard Gasquet, Agnieszka Radwanska among others.





Travis Roberts

A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Travis is a Certified PTR Professional. He played competitive junior tennis in the Midwest before receiving multiple college scholarship offers. He coached for five years in Michigan before joining Cliff Drysdale Tennis Management. He has worked at Cliff Drysdale Clubs all over Florida including Hawks Cay Resort, Omni Amelia Island Plantation, Trump National Doral, as well as John Newcombe Country Club in New Braunfels, Texas. He has also spent time at Peach Performance Tennis in Alpharetta, GA. Tennis has always been a passion of his and he loves sharing his knowledge gained from 10 years of teaching. 



Joey Snell

Tennis Pro


Originally from London, England, Joey has been playing tennis since the age of seven. Growing up he was involved in multiple sports and is also a single handicap golfer. Joey played tennis at school and university, and became involved in teaching. Since then tennis has been his passion. He is LTA qualified (Lawn Tennis Association) and PTR certified. Before he moved out to California, Joey was living near Wimbledon and teaching tennis at an Academy within a Private school. He specializes in junior tennis and has run successful junior camps in the UK and in Greece.
