Keisha Marsh

B.S. Dance
ACE Group Fitness Certification
ACE Personal Training Certification

Keisha has been in the dance and fitness industry for 15 years.  The bulk of her career was spent at the University of Idaho while in attendance and after graduation she taught a variety of dance and fitness classes for the University, both in the dance department and for the recreation center.  She started personal training as a way to assist and push fellow dancers to their full potential.

Keisha has had the chance to work with several professional choreographers including Frankie Manning, and has danced in several re-stagings of famous pieces by Doris Humphrey.

"I have learned a level of discipline working at the professional dance level that I like to embody when teaching or training...I may push a student or client but they will have fun doing it!  I love fitness and I love dance and I love combining the two when I can.  There is a level of body awareness you have to have when dancing and I feel the same when executing any exercise.  I enjoy giving people the knowledge of why and how their bodies are moving.  If feel a better understanding of these philosophies produces a more effective work out and also assists in preventing injuries."
